What We Believe
Our faith is firmly rooted in the Holy Scriptures, centered on Jesus Christ, and lived through the transforming work of the Holy Spirit.
This Statement of Faith reflects the biblical beliefs, doctrinal guidance, and Scripture references approved by Senior Pastor Joseph R. Milien for Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly.
Church Administration organized the approved teachings into a clear and accessible website format so members, visitors, families, and community partners may understand the church's spiritual foundation.
The organization and presentation of this material do not represent independent doctrinal decisions by Church Administration. The doctrine is presented under the spiritual oversight and approval of the Senior Pastor.
Conformed to the Image of Jesus Christ
At Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly, we believe God's purpose for every believer extends beyond receiving forgiveness or attending church.
Through salvation, discipleship, obedience to Scripture, prayer, worship, correction, fellowship, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, believers are progressively formed into the character and likeness of Jesus Christ.
Romans 8:29 expresses the central spiritual purpose of Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly: believers being conformed to the image of Jesus Christ. This spiritual purpose shapes our preaching, prayer, worship, discipleship, leadership, Christian conduct, service, and witness to the world.
"For whom He foreknew, He also predestined to be conformed to the image of His Son."
Sanctified. Spirit-Filled. Christ-Centered.
Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly is a sanctified, Spirit-filled, Christ-centered church committed to glorifying God by becoming more like Jesus Christ and faithfully proclaiming His Gospel to the world.
