About Cornerstone
Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly is a Christ-centered, Spirit-filled church located in Delray Beach, Florida. Since 1982, we have been committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ, making disciples, and equipping believers to live lives that glorify God.
We exist to help people encounter God's presence, grow in His Word, experience the transforming power of the Holy Spirit, and faithfully serve their families, community, and the Kingdom of God.
Our Story
Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly was established in 1982 with a God-given vision to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and build a church founded upon biblical truth, fervent prayer, holiness, and the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
For more than four decades, God has faithfully sustained this ministry, allowing generations of believers to worship together, grow in their faith, and impact the Delray Beach community through the love of Christ.
Although seasons have changed, our mission has remained the same: to glorify God, make disciples, and prepare believers to faithfully serve until the return of Jesus Christ.
Pastor Joseph R. Milien began his ministry journey in Haiti under the leadership of Pastor Joseph Desrivieres.
After leaving Haiti, Pastor Milien traveled to Tulsa, Oklahoma, where he continued his ministry journey for approximately one year. He later moved to Sterling, Illinois, where he served under Pastor E. L. Welch.
During that time, Sister Myriam Frederick recognized the need for a Haitian pastor to serve the Haitian community in Delray Beach, Florida. She contacted Pastor E. L. Welch and requested that a Haitian pastor be sent to minister in the area.
In response to that request, Pastor E. L. Welch commissioned Pastor Joseph R. Milien to serve in Delray Beach. Sister Myriam Frederick also gave the ministry the name Full Gospel Assembly.
Pastor Joseph R. Milien and the late First Lady Immacula G. Milien labored faithfully together through prayer, sacrifice, service, perseverance, and dedication to build and sustain the ministry.
In 2020, the name Cornerstone was added, and the church became known as Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly of Delray.

We are committed to worship that honors God, preaching that is firmly rooted in Scripture, prayer that invites the work of the Holy Spirit, and ministry that reflects the compassion of Jesus Christ.
Our desire is to help every believer grow spiritually, discover their God-given purpose, and become equipped to impact their family, community, and the world for God's glory.

Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly of Delray is not a church that exists only to receive; we are a church committed to giving, serving, welcoming, and loving. We believe genuine Christian hospitality is an expression of the heart of Christ, and we strive to welcome every person with warmth, dignity, kindness, and respect.
Cornerstone is committed to extending the love of Christ beyond the walls of the sanctuary by feeding the hungry, supporting families, encouraging young people, caring for seniors, strengthening the vulnerable, and building meaningful partnerships that improve the spiritual and practical well-being of the community.
We are determined for every person who encounters Cornerstone to experience a church that does not simply speak about love, but actively lives it.
