Mother Immacula G. Milien was a foundational strength and the backbone of the ministry. She stood faithfully beside Pastor Joseph R. Milien through seasons of growth, hardship, sacrifice, uncertainty, and difficult transition.

She helped sustain and build the ministry through prayer, wisdom, courage, generosity, hard work, and unwavering faith in God. During challenging seasons, she carried responsibilities quietly and faithfully, helped meet practical needs, encouraged the discouraged, and strengthened the church family.

She was far more than a supporter of the ministry. She was one of its builders. Her presence brought stability, compassion, discipline, strength, and care to the congregation.

She shared the burdens of the people, supported the work of the church, and helped the ministry continue moving forward even during its most difficult seasons.

She was far more than a pastor's wife. She was one of the builders of the ministry whose influence continues to be felt today.

Mother Milien became a mother to many who needed love, protection, guidance, care, and a sense of belonging.

She welcomed people with warmth, listened without judgment, offered wise counsel, and gave others a safe place to express their pain, fears, and concerns.

She fed people who were hungry, clothed those in need, comforted the grieving, counseled women and families, cared for the sick, and provided a shoulder for those who needed support.

To many people, she became a mother, nurse, caregiver, counselor, confidante, encourager, mentor, prayer partner, and faithful friend.

Her compassion was not limited to words. She served people personally, consistently, and sacrificially. She noticed those who were overlooked and helped them feel seen, protected, loved, and valued.

Mother Milien became a spiritual mother to countless people, praying with them and becoming a source of encouragement and strength for anyone who crossed her path.

Mother Milien opened her home to anyone in need.

Her home became a place of shelter, safety, rest, comfort, nourishment, prayer, and restoration for individuals and families experiencing hardship.

She welcomed people who needed food, temporary housing, protection, guidance, or simply a safe place to recover during a difficult season.

Women facing domestic violence, people experiencing financial hardship, the sick, the hungry, the discouraged, and those without stable housing found compassion and support through her open door.

She made room for others even when doing so required personal sacrifice. She did not serve only when it was convenient. Hospitality and compassion were part of the way she lived.

Her home became a sanctuary where lives were restored and where people experienced the love of Christ through practical acts of kindness, dignity, and hope.

Mother Milien was a courageous protector and advocate for women experiencing domestic violence and unsafe living situations.

She helped women find safety, support, guidance, and a path away from abuse. She offered a listening ear, wise counsel, practical assistance, prayer, and a safe presence during frightening and uncertain times.

Her concern did not end once a woman escaped immediate danger. She encouraged women as they worked to rebuild their confidence, protect their children, regain stability, and begin a new chapter of life.

She understood that ministry sometimes required standing beside people in their most vulnerable moments and helping them move toward safety, healing, dignity, and hope.

Through comfort, wisdom, protection, practical assistance, prayer, and hope, she helped women begin new chapters of life with dignity and faith.

Mother Milien believed that compassion should help people move from crisis toward stability, dignity, independence, and long-term progress.

She helped individuals pursue practical education and career training. In some cases, she personally paid for trade-school tuition or related expenses so that people could gain valuable skills, find employment, support their families, and build a more secure future.

She did not only meet immediate needs. She invested in people's futures through education, encouragement, practical guidance, discipline, opportunity, and faith.

Her generosity helped people move beyond temporary hardship and toward productive, stable, and independent lives.

She believed education, faith, discipline, and opportunity could transform lives and future generations.

Mother Milien cared for the sick with extraordinary tenderness, patience, and compassion.

She nursed people during illness, visited those who were suffering, prepared food, assisted with personal needs, offered comfort, prayed with them, and provided the kind of attentive care that helped people feel less alone.

To many, she became a nurse and caregiver even though her service was not limited to a formal title or position.

She understood that caring for the sick, elderly, weak, and vulnerable was a sacred expression of Christian love.

Her hands brought comfort, her presence brought peace, and her prayers brought hope to people during some of their most difficult moments.

She visited the sick, prepared meals, comforted the elderly, and lovingly cared for those who needed physical and emotional support. Her compassion reflected the love of Christ in practical and deeply personal ways.

Mother Milien was a true missionary and evangelist.

She faithfully shared the message of Jesus Christ, prayed with individuals and families, invited people to church, encouraged them in their faith, and helped them develop a genuine relationship with God.

Her missionary service was not limited to preaching or speaking. She demonstrated the Gospel through action.

She evangelized while feeding the hungry, clothing those in need, nursing the sick, protecting vulnerable women, supporting education, opening her home, counseling families, and helping people rebuild their lives.

She understood that the Gospel should be both proclaimed and demonstrated through love, sacrifice, courage, generosity, and service.

She lived as a missionary in the church, in her home, in her business, throughout the community, and everywhere God gave her an opportunity to serve.

She discipled believers, invited people to church, and lived as a true missionary every day of her life.

Mother Milien's compassion was woven into every part of her life, including her work as a beautician.

Her business was more than a place where she provided beauty services. It became another place of ministry where she listened, counseled, encouraged, prayed, evangelized, mentored, and cared for people.

Her clients and members of the community found more than a beautician in her. They found a trusted listener, a counselor, an encourager, a prayer partner, a mentor, and a woman who genuinely cared about their lives.

She gave generously from what she earned and from whatever resources she had available. She helped people who were hungry, struggling financially, pursuing an education, rebuilding after hardship, or trying to create a better future for their families.

She often gave without expecting recognition, repayment, praise, or anything in return.

She did not separate ministry from daily life. She served God through the church, through her missionary work, through her business, and through the hospitality of her home.

Whether in church, at home, or in her salon, she faithfully served people with love and compassion, offering mentorship, friendship, and hope to all who came through her door.

Mother Milien's service continued even during her own illness.

Up until her final days, she remained concerned about the needs of others. Even while experiencing physical weakness and personal suffering, she continued making sure that someone who was hungry received food.

That act of compassion reflected the way she lived her entire life. She served faithfully, quietly, personally, and sacrificially.

Her love did not end when serving became difficult. She continued to give from the depth of her heart until she no longer could.

Her final days revealed the same compassion, generosity, and selfless love that had defined her life and ministry for many years.

Mother Immacula G. Milien's legacy lives on through the ministry she helped build and through the many people she fed, clothed, counseled, protected, sheltered, trained, comforted, nursed, encouraged, mentored, and helped restore.

Her influence can be seen in individuals who became safer, stronger, more stable, better educated, professionally trained, spiritually grounded, and more hopeful because she cared.

She demonstrated that true ministry is not found only behind a pulpit. It is also found in a prepared meal, an open door, a safe home, a listening ear, a comforting embrace, a tuition payment, a visit to the sick, a word of wisdom, a prayer offered in faith, and a life poured out in service to others.

She will always be remembered as a woman of extraordinary faith, wisdom, strength, courage, compassion, generosity, sacrifice, and unconditional love.

She was a ministry builder, missionary, evangelist, caregiver, protector, mentor, beautician, counselor, spiritual mother, and servant of God whose influence continues within Cornerstone Full Gospel Assembly of Delray.

Her life reminds us that some of the greatest servants of God build His Kingdom quietly—one person, one family, and one act of kindness at a time.
